FARR-out: Beneteau First 45F5

Dennis purchased FARR-out in april of 2009. When in the process of buying FARR-out Dennis sold his house and moved to to mainly live aboard. In the next couple of years his plans and dreams to sail FARR-out around the world started to turn more serious after each year that went by, and in September of 2017 the actual journey of traveling the world commenced!

This first 45f5 is a Beneteau, designed by the master of fast hull designs: Bruce Farr. From the keel to the masthead, the first 45f5 is born to perform with advanced keel design, modern rutter, long waterline, fine entry and minimum wetted surface. Famous designer Pininfarina has also left his stamp of genius. Showing purity in form, strong, dynamic lines in the deck plan, and perfection of the interior accommodation.

Well sailed, brilliantly fitted out, this first 45f5, built in 1991, still continues on her course!

Crew

Kiddo, ship's cat (01/07/2019)

Kiddo joined the crew in September of 2019, she is half Siamese, a real smart-ass, and mostly spends her days playing and sleeping on or below deck. When sailing you will not see much of her, as she then goes into hiding below deck. But when anchored or moored in a marina she loves to be in good company.
