May 2018: Leaving European waters.

May 7th: Marina Muelle Deportivo de las Palmas

In the last week of April, skipper and crew took a flight back from the Netherlands to the Algarve (Portugal), to rejoin with FARR-out once again and sail, what will most likely for now be, the last leg in Europe.

In approximately four days and a half we crossed from Lagos to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. We left Lagos on May 2nd, around 16:00 h. to arrive in las Palmas early May 7th at 02:00 h.

The weather was calm, good temperatures, fair winds - often even on the low side, and the Atlantic was not too rough. It was a quiet crossing, and we were fortunate enough to spot many whales and dolphins on our way!

We are now very happy to be cruising in this beautiful sailing area around the Canary Islands for the next year and a half or so, and always happy to receive guests on board with us.
